SEAHAWKS: Boldin now on the trading block


After months of mixed signals, the Cardinals finally appear ready to trade their unsatisfied Pro Bowl receiver. Well, one of them.

WR Anquan Boldin has felt disrespected by Arizona since the squad refused to restructure his contract after Larry Fitzgerald was awarded a four-year $40 million deal last year.

The news can only mean good things for Seattle's secondary, which was torched by Arizona's famed 2008 passing attack. The tandem of Fitzgerald and Boldin is much more menacing than Fitzgerald and Steve Breaston.

Both Boldin and Fitzgerald are good enough to draw double teams. With Boldin off the roster, the gameplan against Arizona suddenly becomes a lot easier, especially with a poor running game.

With Boldin gone, the six games against the NFC West looks a little more like it did two years ago than it did last season.
