The disabled-list move was made retroactive to April 11, the last day he pitched.

Rowland-Smith is suffering from triceps tendinitis in his left arm but said he expects to be back by April 26 when he's eligible to return.
In his lone start this season on April 10 at Oakland, Rowland-Smith lasted just 3 1/3 innings walking four with a pair of unearned runs. Last year he was 5-3 with a 3.42 ERA in 118.1 innings.
The 26-year-old Australian lefty said he felt his arm stiffened up after playing catch a few days ago.
"It's really frustrating," Rowland-Smith said. "I was in the rotation and you really want to pick up where you left off last year. Then I had that outing where I just threw way too many pitches. You really just want to get on a roll and it's frustrating."
Wakamatsu said he didn't think the injury is anything serious and would warrant any more time than the 15 days.
Jakubauskas (1-0, 2 K's, 4.50 ERA, 1.25 WHIP), the 30-year-old former independent league pitcher, has been the feel-good story this spring and now will get his first-ever major league start.
"He's probably our most consistent pitcher in spring training," Wakamatsu said. "He really impressed us and that's why he made the club."
