SEAHAWKS: Matt Hasselbeck cleared to play


According to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times, Matt Hasselbeck has been cleared to play Sunday. He suffered a concussion in week 7 against the Raiders, which resulted in Charlie Whitehurst starting against the Giants. Concussions have been a point of interest for NFL this season, and the league is not taking any risks with the players having to be completely symptom free.

"He's ready to go," Pete Carroll said. "He's full go and looking good."

Brandon Mebane is also practicing without limitations, and Russell Okung is limited to practicing in individual drills.

J. P. Losman was also re-signed to be the third string quarterback. He was with the team in training camp but then was cut right before the season.
