SOUNDERS FC: It's yellow

The Sounders will continue to stand out on the pitch after announcing a third kit, which the club calls "Electricity."

According the Sounders, the team will wear the kit for friendly and cup matches.

Steve Zakuani, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado and Fredy Montero (pictured above) are currently modeling the kit at the Pacific Center pro shop in Seattle.

“We are going to help the stadium save money on the electricity bill," forward Fredy Montero said.

Kit details from the club:
DETAIL: The jersey features the Xbox 360 logo and a tone on tone or one-color Sounders badge positioned on the left chest and accented by the traditional adidas 3-stripes. The jersey, shorts and socks will all feature the same color palette.

SLEEVE PATCHES: The U.S. flag is featured on the left sleeve and the MLS logo on included on the right sleeve.

PRIMARY COLOR: Electricity (Pantone 809C)

ACCENT COLOR: Rave Green (Pantone 370C)

MATERIAL: The performance design cues carry over with adidas FORMOTION and CLIMACOOL. FORMOTION technology allows the uniforms to move naturally with the athlete's body resulting in ideal comfort while in motion. CLIMACOOL technology combines moisture wicking fabric with strategically placed mesh material in the player's heat zones to keep the athlete at optimum temperature.

FONT: The font is consistent with other team apparel, modified versions of Verlag ("Sounders FC") and Eurostyle ("Seattle").
