According to an online tabloid, Fulham FC, an English Premier League team, is "keeping tabs" on Seattle's Fredy Montero.The three-sentence report cites no sources.
Head coach Sigi Schmid responded to the report after the Chelsea game Saturday.
“You read things in the paper and you’re not quite sure how they get there," Schmid said. "Fredy Montero is with us right now."

Montero has racked up one goal each in the last five games and currently sits in second place in the league with nine goals on the season.
"There have been no official inquiries that we are aware at this stage," Schmid said. "I’m sure one day that opportunity, whether it’s a day soon or later, will present itself, but right now he has a very important game to prepare for.”
