H206 Basketball Game this Saturday at Key Arena featuring Brandon Roy, Isaiah Thomas, and Jamal Crawford

This Saturday, professional basketball players will be playing in Key Arena.

No, the Sonics aren’t back. But the H206 Charity Basketball Classic is being held at the Key this Saturday, July 23 and will feature current professional basketball players and Seattle legends.

This is the game Seattle basketball fans dream of. Watching Brandon Roy, Isaiah Thomas, Spencer Hawes and Jamal Crawford on the same team competing against Klay Thompson, Kyle Singler, and Brandon Jennings is basketball heaven.

Before the game, there will be a three-point competition, skills challenge and a half-court shot. Think of this like the NBA All-Star game, but Seattle style. The halftime show will be a special opportunity to honor players who brought the city of Seattle its first and only men’s basketball championship.

Invited honorary guests from the 1979 championship team including such names as Lenny Wilkens, Fred Brown, Jack Sikma, Gus Williams, Paul Silas and Wally Walker. Now, more than 30 years later, the fans will get the opportunity to say “thank you” to these legends for putting Seattle basketball on the map.

The Seattle squad includes Brandon Roy, Isaiah Thomas, Spencer Hawes, Jamal Crawford, Will Conroy, Martell Webster, Avery Bradley, Brian Scalabrine, Marvin Williams and Michael Dickerson.

To counter, the League squad includes Michael Beasley, Klay Thompson, Brandon Jennings, Nolan Smith, Dorell Wright, Jason Kapono, Troy Bell, Pooh Jeter, Kyle Singler and Marcus Banks.

All proceeds to this game go to, as the name suggests, charity.

Tickets to this once in a lifetime game are available at TicketMaster and at Key Arena’s box office once game time approaches.
