Where NSS goes from here

With UW basketball ending last week, the NFL being in a lockout, and the NBA not being on town anymore, Seattle sports action has been in a bit of a lull lately.

Luckily, we have the Mariners.

Baseball has 162 games, and it’s almost impossible to cover them all individually. So, here’s how NSS is going to cover the Mariners’ season…

To Continue...

• When teams in baseball play each other, it’s usually in a 3 or 4 game series. So instead of preview each game, we’ll instead preview all of them as a whole. That’ll include giving you the pitching match ups, important stats, and some information regarding the opposing team.

• After a series is finished, we will be giving quick summaries on each game. Call it our series wrap up.

• Transactions news.

• And, just anything we feel like writing about. Expect to see a rant or two during the season on either a) FSN/ROOT Sports or b) a Mariners player.

If you are interested in the Mariners, and think you’ve got some writing ability, shoot me an e-mail at nathanparsons98@yahoo.com. Baseball is a lot to cover, and it’s always good to have multiple writers working to give some flexibility.
