Just one day after the Seahawks acquired defensive lineman Kentwan Balmer from the 49ers for a sixth round pick, it appears that the team has reached a similar deal with the Lions for Jackson.

Jackson was selected by the Seahawks with the 28th overall pick of the 2008 draft. He started 24 of the 31 games he played for Seattle and compiled 61 tackles, including 49 solo, with 6 1/2 sacks.
