SEAHAWKS: Free Agent O.J. Atogwe plans to visit Seattle


Adam Schefter is tweeting that free-agent Safety O.J. Atogwe is “planning to visit Seattle next week.” Atogwe has spent his career with the St. Louis Rams since being drafted out of third round from Stanford University. Schefter also tweets that the Rams still remain the favorite to re-sign Atogwe, but Seattle “could make it interesting.”

Atogwe finished the 2009 season leading the Rams with 74 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, as well as 2 interceptions in 12 games. Since releasing Deon Grant months ago, the Seahawks would certainly be acceptable to looking at potential Safety position players, strengthening the secondary.
