SEAHAWKS: Report: Carroll unwilling to give up first-rounder for Marshall

Although this probably won't surprise anyone, NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt said that after speaking with Pete Carroll, Brandt got the feeling Seattle wouldn't offer up one of their two first-round picks for WR Brandon Marshall.

Seattle appears to have the upper-hand in trade negotiations with Denver because there does is no market for Marshall at this point.

Although there has been no visible progress in negotiations since Marshall visited Seattle at the beginning of free agency, that does not mean Seattle's interest has waned.

SI NFL reporter Peter King recently tweeted that the Broncos will eventually trade Marshall for a second rounder before the draft.
