SEAHAWKS: Lions pursuing Sims

Rob Sims

A trade between the Detroit Lions may be in the works for restricted free agent Rob Sims, reports NFL.com's Jason La Canfora.

Rob Sims was tendered at the fourth-round level, meaning any team hoping to acquire the 26-year-old 5th year guard would have to offer up at least a fourth-round draft pick.

So far the Bears have also been reported to have interest in Sims.

There have been no offers for Sims as of yet but one may be imminent as league interest rises. The Lions hold one fourth-round pick at no. 100, which is second in the fourth round.

Sims was deemed expendable after failing to fit into the zone blocking scheme last season.
