This season's been rough for the reigning AL Cy Young winner, but Cliff Lee proved he still has it in a one-run complete game, knocking off the Mariners 4-1 today in Cleveland.
Ronny Cedeno kept Seattle (46-43) from being shutout with his fifth home run of the season in the top of the fifth. He came close to one earlier in the third, but Indians CF Grady Sizemore made a running grab near the warning track.
Starting pitcher Garrett Olson couldn't find comfort right from the get-go, as he lasted just 2.2 innings with three runs and three walks.

While Seattle struggled to score, it wasn't from a lack of base runners. But despite nine hits, the Mariners would strand 11 base runners.
In the field, the team committed four errors, two by 1B Russell Branyan. The first came off a bad throw by 3B Chris Woodward, who would go on to commit an error of his own in the eighth.
Cedeno has been steadily hitting better of late, bringing his batting average back from the sub-.150 he was at for awhile to his current .171.
However, the team is still struggling to find a replacement for Adrian Beltre at third base.
