
With one on in the bottom of the ninth "The D.A." David Aardsma threw a knee-high fastball at 94 mph which had Indians fans thinking tie-ball game as Martinez hit it deep right. But Suzuki tracked it, climbed the wall and made a spectacular catch to end the game as Seattle won 5-3.
"The only thing in my mind was to catch it, just like a dog chasing a Frisbee," Suzuki said through a translator.

Erik Bedard wasn't able to finish the fifth as he pitched 4.2 innings striking out six, walking three and giving up three runs, two earned, on four hits.
Between Miguel Batista, Shawn Kelly, who was credited with his second win of the season, Mark Lowe, who got his 14th hold, and Aardsma, who recorded his 22nd save of the year, Seattle's bullpen gave up just two hits and three walks in 4.1 innings. They also combined for six more strikeouts as the Indians failed to put lumber on the ball.
In the first inning, Russell "The Muscle" Branyan hit his team-high 23rd home run of the season, a two-run shot, which gave Seattle the lead 2-0. Branyan would also score the winning run off a Jack Hannahan sacrifice fly.
An RBI from Franklin Gutierrez made it 3-0 in the first, and he also added an insurance run in the ninth to bring the Mariners to five runs.
Seattle has a day off Monday then goes on to the AL Central leading Detroit Tigers.
